DID – Disassociate Identity Disorder – Multiple personality disorder (in USA 10 percent of the population is affected with this and found only in North America where 99 percent of cases have been detected – in 1944 it was 76 cases - 0.015 percent prevalent in India- out of 40000 cases diagnosed 2000 have been found with DID – It has happened only in English speaking countries) what is this medical terminology in simple – the clubbing of two brains – In the world 102 cases have been detected say the film but none has been solved. But the film ‘Nam Yajamanru’ gives a cinematic touch to this concept in a gripping narration, well acted by lead players, lovely scenic beauty and crisp editing add up to the film. Noted director T.S.Nagabharana and Dr.Vishnuvardhana combination after 28 years has done a magic to the Kannada audience. Every role in this film ‘Nam Yajamanru’ have understood the essentiality and performed.

Dr.Vishnu, Vijaya Raghavendra, Navya Nair, Ananthnag in order share the top honors for their brilliant performance.

Although it is the Janumadha Jodi Bureau the marriages have been conducted and divorces have been averted by Shashank he has a typical problem in his house. The daughter age Charu is claiming her as Urmila. Shashank knows pretty well that he should not accept this proposal. Meanwhile Alok the lover of Charu returns back from army training and is shocked to find Charu in the house of Shashank. He is very definite that Urmila what Charu is claiming is wrong. But psychiatrist has something else to say. The insurance company Poovaiah also arrives on the scene as the claim of Rs.50 lakh for Urmila death is made. It is in fact from this amount Urmila (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) wanted to build Bharatanatya School.

Shashank is surprised when Charu drives the car and dance. It is the quality of Urmila. Doctor is also shocked. It is decided that Charu should be taken to the height of emotions. The same accident is set again. This mounting of emotions is highly risky but something has to be done to drive the twin memory map in the brain. The team of doctors decides that either one of the memories could be retained. They are in fix again because which memory will be erased cannot give hopes. Finally Charu retains her memory and turn back at Alok.

The Kannada cinema quality and sense of understanding the director leaves for the audience is of highest standard. TS Nagabharana home work has added a lot and he is not in confusion.

Vishnuvardhana the master of acting has proved again that he is the best in emotional scenes. Vijaya Raghavendra has a convincing role for his age. Navya Nair gobbles the maximum of attention for her presence and portrayal of the role. Lakshmi Gopalaswamy is as sweet as ever. Ananthnag and Sharat Babu have given good support.

Hamsalekha songs and tunes are in tune with the mood of the film. Gundu Bhoomige Sutto Kushi….Yee Mouna Manasa Gaana….Ninne Rathri Neeli Gaganadhi Chukki Sampige….are good ones – Ramesh Babu cinematography is exceptionally good.

Namgenenu Beko Adhu Illidhe…Ayke Madodhu Namma Janmelidhe…says one of the songs lines. Do not hesitate you choice will be good.
